  • The hike to the Mykines Lighthouse is currently CLOSED due to landslide and not safe conditions!
  • There is a mandatory hiking fee on Mykines Island of 400DKK, which has to be booked 24 hours in advance.

  • The weather in the Faroe Islands can be unpredictable, with quick changes. It’s advisable to dress in layers and be prepared for rain and wind, regardless of the season.
  • In wet conditions both landing and the hike can be slippery
